Montebello officers and firefighters were called to 414 Lohart Ave. in response to unknown circumstances and found a man dead behind the apartment building, Montebello police said in a statement. The time of the call was not known. Inside the apartment, officers found the boy, girl and woman, police said. The boy was dead.

A man and a boy were found dead, and a woman and a girl were severely injured after an attack at a Montebello apartment complex. Police are continuing to investigate what led up to the attack.
