New York State Police are searching for 9-year-old Melina Galanis Frattolin, who they say was last seen near Lake George when an unknown suspect took her.

Police sent an alert to people's phones saying Melina Galanis Frattolin was last seen southbound in a white van on I-87 near exit 22 at 9:40 p.m. Saturday.

Melina Frattolin, who had been reported missing out of Lake George Saturday night, has been found dead, according to New York State Police.
