Former Cleveland Browns and Ohio State defensive backs coach Jeff Hafley has been hired as the head coach of the Miami Dolphins, the team announced Monday. Hafley, 46, spent the past two seasons as the defensive coordinator for the Green Bay Packers.

The Miami Dolphins have hired former Green Bay Packers defensive coordinator Jeff Hafley as their new head coach. Hafley succeeds Mike McDaniel, as the team seeks to end the NFL's longest playoff win drought. Hafley brings head coaching experience from Boston College and is expected to improve the team's defense.
