Trump threatens to 'speak' with Putin on giving Ukraine Tomahawk missiles as Russia hits hospital
Russia strikes Ukrainian hospital with precision bombs, injuring six patients, as President Donald Trump threatens to give Ukraine Tomahawk missiles if Moscow won't settle.
The Russian attack on Kharkiv in Ukraine’s northeast hit the city’s main hospital, forcing the evacuation of 50 patients, regional head Oleh Syniehubov said. The attack’s main targets were energy facilities, Zelenskyy said, without providing details of what was hit.
Trump, who has said he thought this conflict would be the “easiest” to settle, is set to host Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky at the White House on Friday in what could be a pivotal visit for Zelensky, who is openly seeking access to more advanced American weaponry that would let his armed forces strike targets deep inside Russia.
Russian drone and missile strikes caused blackouts across large swaths of Ukraine, damaged residential buildings and injured at least 20 people in Kyiv, authorities said.
The Kremlin will negotiate only if missiles and drones bring the pain of war home to Russians, Ukrainian officials say.

Trump warns Russia he may send Ukraine long-range Tomahawks if Moscow doesn’t settle war soon
President Donald Trump is warning Russia that he may send Ukraine long-range Tomahawk missiles if Moscow doesn't settle its war there soon.
