Temperatures are going to jump Thursday as a warm airmass makes it way over the region, according to forecasters. A high of 90 is anticipated that day, but forecasters said it will feel like 100 with humidity. The Lehigh Valley will be under a heat advisory from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. Thursday.
Tomorrow will start off dry, but outer rainbands from the tropical wave in the Gulf will move through the day, bringing us a good chance of scattered showers and thunderstorms. Highs will top out in the low 90s.
A few more showers and storms will be possible Tuesday night, driven by daytime heating. After the sun sets, all storms should dissipate. Clouds will gradually clear and Wednesday should be mostly sunny and breezy with winds coming from the south around 20 mph.
