Zach Pop signed a one-year contract with the New York Mets and joined their bullpen Saturday before a Subway Series game against the Yankees. The right-hander made four relief appearances for the Seattle Mariners in June before getting designated for assignment last weekend.

The Mets added another external piece to their bullpen on Saturday, signing veteran right-hander Zach Pop to a Major League deal. Pop joined the Mets in advance of their Subway Series game against the Yankees at Citi Field.

Before the second of the game of their series against the Yankees got underway this afternoon, the Mets added recently-signed right-handed reliever Zach Pop, who was recently designated for assignment by the Mariners, to their active roster. And the team designated Tyler Zuber for assignment in a corresponding move.
