Israeli officials on Tuesday confirmed the deaths of two hostages whose remains were returned to Israel on Monday. The remains of Guy Iluz and Bipin Joshi were among the four deceased hostages who were transferred back to Israel on Tuesday, the Israel Defense Forces said on social media.

US President Donald Trump on Sunday emplaned for Israel, calling the trip "a very special time" and describing the moment as one filled with excitement and unity.

The Hostages Family Forum, a grassroots organization representing many of the hostage families, called it a “blatant violation of the agreement by Hamas.”
