Jimmy Kimmel’s YouTube numbers may have spiked because nearly one-third of ABC stations, those owned by Nexstar and Sinclair, refused to air his return.

Television operators Sinclair and Nexstar are ending their preemption of Jimmy Kimmel’s late-night show.

"We have had discussions with executives at The Walt Disney Company and appreciate their constructive approach to addressing our concerns," the company said in its statement.
