Hundreds of Iowa City residents descended on City Park to honor John Lewis by making "Good Trouble" to protest President Donald Trump's policies.
Community members in Lafayette gathered to honor the legacy of Congressman John Lewis and protest against attacks on civil and human rights, marking the 5th anniversary of his passing.
Protests are planned across the nation on Thursday, the anniversary of civil rights icon and Congressman John Lewis’ death. Lewis famously coined the term “good trouble” to describe nonviolent civil disobedience that challenges unjust systems.
These reductions will create real challenges for all health systems, including ours,” said Mary Mannix, President and CEO of Augusta Health.
