LAS VEGAS — Jahmir Young’s elite offensive performance fueled the Chicago Bulls to a 57-point second half and a comeback 102-96 win over the Milwaukee Bucks in an NBA2K26 Summer League battle at Thomas & Mack Center in Las Vegas on Wednesday afternoon.

“We kind of laugh internally. It’s where we’ve been for ten years,” Bucks president Peter Feigin said on an NBATV Summer League broadcast. “Giannis loves Milwaukee, Milwaukee loves Giannis. We’re in a good place. We feel great about it. It’s business as usual.” The Bucks revamped Antetokounmpo’s supporting cast this offseason.
The Clippers (2-0) were led by Patrick Baldwin Jr., who tallied 22 points, 13 rebounds and three steals. Cam Christie compiled 21 points, three rebounds and three assists. Jordan Miller had 21 points and three assists, while Trentyn Flowers led the bench with 15 points, four rebounds and two steals.
The Milwaukee Bucks missed out on an opportunity to land an All-Star guard on Wednesday. The Phoenix Suns and Bradley Beal finally agreed to a contract buyout, however, the Los Angeles Clippers were quick to sign the star to a contract as he became a free agent.
To stay relevant in the Eastern Conference, the Bucks took a massive swing — though they may have mortgaged their future in the process. Grant Hughes of Bleacher Report called the team’s efforts “desperate,” with Milwaukee frantically trying to keep its title window intact.
According to NBA insider Ian Begley of SNY, the New York Knicks won’t sign Mikal Bridges to an extension until they know for certain Giannis Antetokounmpo is staying with the Milwaukee Bucks.
The Grizzlies bought out one of their recent trade acquisitions, making way for him to sign up to play with Giannis Antetokounmpo
After 10 years with the Pacers, NBA two-time blocks leader Myles Turner joins the Milwaukee Bucks, citing "alignment issues" with Indiana after Tyrese Haliburton's injury.
It was shocking to everyone that Turner signed with Milwaukee, and reports surfaced the Pacers didn't offer Turner what he wanted for a new contract, which led to him bolting for the Bucks. Although Turner didn't expound on it a ton, he did note that there were "alignment issues" with him and the Pacers, which led to him signing with the Bucks.
Unless another move is made to open up a roster spot, this likely means that second-round pick Bogoljub Marković will not be rostered next season. Anthony and Livingston would give the Bucks 14 guaranteed contracts, with Andre Jackson Jr. at the 15th spot on a partially guaranteed deal.
