This month, the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) opened an investigation into almost 1.2 million Ram pickup trucks for potential failures following their recall. The NHTSA's Office of Defects Investigation (ODI) is investigating 2013 to 2018 model year Ram 1500 and Ram heavy-duty pickups that were the subject of transmission recalls in 2017 and 2018.
