Ariana Grande is not leaving music and singing behind. The 32-year-old pop star turned Oscar-nominated actress took to Instagram to set the record straight about her music career, denying that she intended to stop working as a singer.

Ariana Grande says she has no plans to abandon her music career after announcing she was working on another film project. After starring alongside Cynthia Erivo in Wicked, the Positions singer confirmed on Wednesday she'd been cast in the film adaptation of the Dr. Seuss book, Oh, The Places You'll Go.

Ariana Grande isn’t holding space for this particular rumor. The singer responded to claims that she isn’t planning to make music anymore, simply because she’s more focused on acting at the moment. “Very silly of you all to assume that just because I have my hands full with many things that I plan to abandon singing & music
