Flash floods in Texas killed more than 100 people over the holiday weekend and left others still missing, including girls attending a summer camp.

Public officials in charge of finding victims of the devastating flooding in Texas pushed away intensifying questions Tuesday about who was monitoring the weather that killed more than 100 people and warning that floodwaters were barreling toward camps and homes.

At least 104 people are dead after heavy rain led to devastating flooding in Texas. Kerr County was hit the hardest, with at least 87 deaths, including 30 children. President Donald Trump signed a disaster declaration for the county and the Federal Emergency Management Agency is on the ground there.

Seven are now confirmed dead in Travis County and two in Williamson County as of Monday morning. In Burnet County, the count remains at three.
