Court grants exemption until Feb 3 after Vikas Yadav says video conferencing could also give away his location.

Nearly a month after being charged by the US Department of Justice (DoJ) with “murder-for-hire” and money laundering over an alleged plot to kill Khalistani terrorist Gurpatwant Singh Pannun, Vikash Yadav has moved an application before a Delhi court seeking exemption from attending his case hearing, citing security threat to his life.

The former RAW officer contended that his personal details, including his address, background, and photographs, have been published worldwide, exposing him to a serious and imminent threat to his life.

According to his plea in a Delhi court, Vikash Yadav's details including his photograph are available to public, & he is monitored by hostile elements which puts his life in danger.

Vikash Yadav's legal team sought an exemption from attending his case hearings citing that there was a threat to his life.
