SAN ANTONIO – A pedestrian was killed on Friday night while walking along Interstate 35, according to San Antonio police. Around 9:20 p.m. Friday, the pedestrian was walking north in the 7000 block of I-35 South northbound main lanes, “where pedestrians are prohibited,” police said.
A stolen Camaro triggered a chain-reaction crash on I-35, killing four and injuring 21. The bus was headed to Mexico. Suspects fled the scene, the San Antonio Police Department said.
Folks heading into San Antonio this afternoon should expect delays, as a major accident has just shut down a notoriously congested highway. The crash happened on Interstate 35, near Schwab Road and FM 1103, at around 11:36 a.m., according to the Texas Department of Transportation (TxDOT).

Four people were killed after a multi-vehicle crash on Interstate 35 on the Southwest Side, according to the Bexar County Medical Examiner’s Office.
