More than 60 million households watched the much-hyped boxing match between 58-year-old retired boxing legend Mike Tyson and the far-younger Jake Paul on Friday night, Netflix said.

Many third-party commentators are suspicious of Netflix’s ability to perform technically when it comes to streaming future high-profile sporting events.

In an internal company memo seen by News, Chief Technology Officer Elizabeth Stone said the bout drew a maximum of 65 million viewers at any one time, rivaling some of the most-watched sporting events.
