Tennessee basketball will play the opening game of the 2025 Players Era Festival against Rutgers before an Elite Eight rematch against Houston.

The Players Era Festival is an 18-team tournament that is held annually in Las Vegas with a $20 million pot, where each team plays three games for a chance to play in the championship game.

On Wednesday, KU Athletics announced their first two matchups in the Players Era Festival, an NIL-driven tournament that will be played in Las Vegas during Thanksgiving week.

On July 1, Rutgers received its opponents for the 2025 players Era Festival in Las Vegas. Rutgers will take on Tennessee on Monday, Nov. 24 followed by a rematch with Notre Dame on Tuesday, Nov. 25.
