Houston homes sold during the past month stayed on the market about a week longer than homes sold a year prior.

Amid the surge in available rental options, the typical SFR stayed on the market for 39 days — up 3 days from October 2024.

Pending home sales in October rose 1.9% month over month but slipped 0.4% year over year, according to NAR's Pending Home Sales Report.
