Wyatt, an Oakland senior, will not play on Nov. 28 in the TSSAA Class 6A semifinals against Blackman High (12-1) at Ray Hughes Stadium at Oakland (13-0) because of an unspecified injury. Wyatt has been hobbled in recent weeks. Oakland defeated Blackman 32-0 on Sept. 26.

Ross has had a solid sophomore season for Tennessee, and he was crucial in the Vols’ win over Arkansas earlier this season. So far, Ross has totaled 17 tackles, 1.5 sacks, 1 forced fumble and 2 pass deflections at the line of scrimmage. His presence will especially be missed on Saturday against a mobile quarterback in Diego Pavia.
