A family was rescued Friday night after becoming stranded along the Sandy River in Clackamas County, according to the sheriff’s office.

A surplus of colorful decorations, vibrant outfits and lots of rainbow flags lined the Portland Waterfront on Saturday to kick off the weekend’s Pride Festival.
