Diego Pavia's brother, Javier Pavia, was arrested at the Vanderbilt-Tennessee game after chaos broke out in the stands in Knoxville.

Vanderbilt football head coach Clark Lea made it clear quarterback Diego Pavia deserves to be a Heisman Trophy finalist after the Commodores' 45-24 road win against Tennessee.

If there were ever a year for a longshot to win the Heisman Trophy, it would be this one. There hasn't been an obvious, dominant force in college football all season, which for many has opened the door for Vanderbilt QB Diego Pavia to keep his name in the running.

Diego Pavia threw for 268 yards and a touchdown and ran for 165 yards and another score to lead No. 12 Vanderbilt to a 45-24 win over No. 18 Tennessee.

It was supposed to be Diego Pavia’s night. The Vanderbilt quarterback had just delivered perhaps the greatest performance in school history, obliterating Kentucky 45-17 and rewriting the record books

After accumulating 433 total yards all by himself to lead Vanderbilt to its 10th win of the season -- 45-24 win at Tennessee -- Pavia justifiably relishes having the last laugh.
