The flooding in central Texas originated from the fast-moving waters on the Guadalupe River on Friday, killing at least 82 people. Authorities say search and rescue efforts are still underway.

There were around 750 campers at Camp Mystic when the floods struck. The long-time director, Richard Eastland, was among the ones who died.

He's a staff member this summer at Camp La Junta. The night of the flood, he was awakened by the popping sounds of pipes snapping as his cabin lurched into the river.
