On the heels of his return to Glastonbury Festival in the U.K., Lewis Capaldi is opening up about his mental health journey and the difficult public moments that made him realize he needed help.

Lewis Capaldi has come a long way since he started working on his mental health a couple of years ago, with the Scottish singer-songwriter revealing that he once had a "mental episode" that left him "convulsing" backstage at a show.

Before taking a two-year break from music, Lewis Capaldi said he had a “crazy panic attack” in Chicago that left him “convulsing” backstage: “It was really, really bad.”
