A man pulled out a gun at a "Good Trouble Lives On" protest at a high-traffic west Mesa intersection after an earlier argument between demonstrators and a Trump supporter.

“If a teenage boy or girl steals some chips from Circle K, they get put in handcuffs and put in the back of a police car. This guy pointed a weapon, and if you look at the picture again, his finger’s on the trigger,” the protester said. “The fact that he wasn’t put in handcuffs right there in that parking lot is appalling.”

On Thursday, approximately 300 people lined up along North 12 St. next to Lincoln Park for the “Good Trouble Lives On” protest from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Waving signs, American flags, and chanting, local protesters joined alongside over 1500 “Good Trouble” events across the nation.
