Pennsylvania’s two U.S. senators split their votes on the controversial Trump tax bill that cuts $1 trillion from Medicaid, while giving billions in tax breaks, mostly for the wealthy. Sen. John Fetterman did not just vote no on the bill, he voted “hell no,” according to his office.

Now, House representatives are voting on another procedural measure, which would allow them to open debate and then move to a final vote for passage. As midnight has passed, five Republicans have so far voted no - two more than House Speaker Mike Johnson can afford.
