This is the BAPS Shri Swaminarayan Mandir in Chino Hills, located about one hour from Los Angeles. It’s the only earthquake proof hind temple (mandir) in the world and it’s free to visit daily. Wear modest clothing because no shorts or tank tops are allowed inside the temple. You will remove your shoes before entering the temple as well so consider bringing socks.
